Terms & Conditions


In these conditions the following words have the following meanings

Conditions means the terms and conditions set out in this document.

Customer means any person who purchases Goods and Services from the Supplier.

Consumer means an individual who intends to order, orders, or uses purchased goods, products, or services.

Goods means any products that are advertised and/or made available for sale.

Contract means the agreement entered into between the Customer and the Supplier for the sale of Products and or services.

Supplier means Best Animal Bedding Ltd, Company Number 13858037.

Delivery means the acceptance of goods by the Customer at the specified / agreed address.

Carrier means any third party responsible for transporting purchased Goods from the Supplier to the Customer.

Services means the services specified in these conditions or via the Suppliers online facilities.

Liability means Liability for any damages, claims, proceedings, actions, awards, expenses, costs, and any other losses and/or liabilities.



These Conditions shall apply to all supply of Goods and Services by the Supplier to the Customer and shall prevail over any other documentation or communication from the Customer.

Goods ordered by the Customer shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of these Conditions. A variation of these Conditions is valid only if it is in writing and signed by a director or duly authorised representative of the Supplier. Nothing in these Conditions shall affect the Customer's statutory rights as a Consumer.


The Supplier will confirm acceptance of the Order for Goods via email to the Customer using the address the Customer has provided. If the Supplier is unable to accept the order the Customer will be informed of this, and any payments taken will be refunded to the Customer.

The Supplier reserves the right to not accept or to cancel & refund an order.

The Customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes for deliveries of the Goods made out of the United Kingdom.



The price of the Goods will be as quoted on the Suppliers website, except in cases of obvious error. Quoted prices include delivery charges to UK destinations however some locations are not covered.

Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time prior to the Customer placing an order. Payment for all Goods must be by credit or debit card. A list of accepted cards can be found on the website. The Supplier will charge the Customers payment card at the point of order.



Any delivery date specified by the Supplier is an estimate only. The Supplier shall not be liable for any loss, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of the Goods. Cost of delivery will be included dependent upon Customer location. The Supplier reserves the right to not accept or

to cancel & refund an order dependent upon delivery location and its accessibility and/or distance. 

The Customer shall be liable for any costs associated with a failed Delivery as a result of the Customer not fulfilling the necessary conditions to allow the Delivery to be made.


Risk in the Goods will pass immediately to the Customer upon Delivery. Risk in the Goods will not pass back to the Supplier from the Customer until the Goods have been returned to the physical possession and control of the Supplier.

The Supplier will supply the goods in suitable packaging for ease of delivery but cannot guarantee the packaging materials will not be damaged during transit, the Customer should ensure Goods are stored in suitable conditions to avoid damage or deterioration.



Where the Goods are deemed faulty or do not comply with the Conditions, the Customer must notify the Supplier within 7 days of Delivery and the Customer shall be entitled to replacement Goods or a refund of the Order excluding shipping costs. The Customer is responsible for any costs incurred returning the items the Supplier (Best Animal Bedding Ltd).
Prior to dispatch the Customer can cancel an Order by notifying the Supplier in writing. If the Goods have already been dispatched or delivered prior to the Customer making contact the Customer is entitled to a full refund minus Delivery cost and will be responsible for all costs incurred for returning the Goods.



If the Supplier is prevented, hindered or delayed from supplying the Goods in accordance with these Conditions by a Force Majeure Event the Supplier may: Suspend Delivery of Goods; or apportion available stocks between Customers as it decides; or Terminate any Contract so affected with immediate effect by written notice to the Customer, and the Supplier shall not be Liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Customer as a result. In this Condition, “Force Majeure Event” means any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Supplier.


The Supplier shall have no Liability to the Customer or any third party for any: Loss of profits; Damage to goodwill; Pure economic loss; Business interruption, Loss of business, Performance or use of the Goods, as a result of any negligence, breach of contract or otherwise in excess of the price for the Goods and Services.

Supplier shall incur no liability to the Customer in respect of any failure to complete the Delivery and/or Services by any agreed completion date.

Nothing in these Conditions shall exclude or limit the Liability of the Supplier for death or personal injury due to its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other Liability which it is not permitted to exclude or limit as a matter of law.

These Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If any term in these Conditions is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such term shall be severed and the remainder of the terms shall continue in full force and effect as if these Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable term eliminated.


If your delivery address has restricted access (like narrow lanes) please indicate that you require your delivery in a 7.5 tonne lorry by adding this request into the comments section at the checkout. If access may be restricted by low trees or soft/uneven ground please enter details in the text box. Customers will be charged a re-delivery fee if the vehicle is unable to access the delivery address, please provide details in the comments section at the point of order!! If your unsure call our office to discuss.

Be aware that due to the height of our pallets on some occasion the top layer may be removed for loading onto the smaller vehicle, therefore some bales will need to be hand-balled off.


Whilst every step has been taken to ensure all materials sourced to produce our product are clean and unused there is a possibility of trace amounts of foreign material could pass undetected through our quality assurance checks. If this happens, we advise not to use the material and to contact us immediately with all relevant details.
